Wanna help solve this stupid level on this kiddie game? It's doing me in....

It's level 9. I have past the level but only with 2 out of 3 possible stars. It really seems impossible to get 3 stars but all the other Monsterland games have been perfect so I don't really believe there is a mistake made. Either I destroy a green, bouncy thing and lose a star, or I miss the cake and lose a star.
The best I've done is I'd hit the flying one on the left, then remove the platform to the right.
This has to be done almost at the same time, and when done fast enough, the falling characters will make contact somewhere in the middle, and the one with the pacifier will end up closer to the cake in 2 moves.
I tried it using a mouse, but if the game have touch screen capabilities, then this method would be so much easier, than whipping the mouse pointer on target within milliseconds.
EDIT:
- Left click the character to the left, then right click asap.
- The game will pause
- Left click blue platform with the character on it.
You can do this over and over again with different outcomes, and the best outcome will be the character with the pacifier landing close to the cake.
It looks as though the developers messed up this level, and it's impossible to get 3 stars it seems.
