Pretty sure it's to have Jim save face, and for Mee it's about a willingness to do anything to feel like he can sit at the "Cool Kids" table. 

He is young and he is a nice kid but he does try hard for acceptance from some members.

First and foremost, both parties received some briefing and ideas and neither of them seemed displeased by the happening. It was, however, put on hold after Jim stopped trying to shame me up and acted more serious about the matter instead. Nevertheless, from what I've seen, he didn't feel particularly effected, neither did the second party, though my assumptions could be wrong. Regardless, Jim's party didn't decide to pull a thread.

Secondly, this is but an another occurance of me being used by each party to troll another. Nil novi sub sole.

Thridly, I'm in deep contemplations whether or not I should share some things, related to the whole trolling case, provided by the OP to reciprocate. It tops the share above in humor, however, thus it may be a bit uncalled for.

Fourthly, a thread once the matter is dealt with seems a bit redundant.

I don't partake in conversations as much irl and Jim does not exhibit much traits of either as well, therefore, I'm inclined to state that these features are less prevalent while having a outernet interaction.

If I was to get the news that you relay what I say later I'd probably be hurt indeed, now I'm just amused. I think you feel like you played both parts but since you don't seem to have gotten anything sensible from either party you kind of played yourself. Should've waited until you got something more substantial then to make a strike, would be more effective :(
