That depends on what your idea of loser is.
There are a lot of MGTOW who don't need to make a conscious decision to keep women out of their life (either because no women would be attracted to them, or they're not at a point financially where they could have one), and they are losers, but it's not because of MGTOW, they merely claim to follow MGTOW as a way to mask their failings. Imagine a bitter barren women who takes up the fight for abortion rights, this is something like the loser hiding among MGTOW.
The rest (I have no idea what proportion of MGTOW are like the above, and how many are as follows) are simply men who've decided that they don't exist to support women, and choose to avoid the whole mess. Though some take it to the point of not associating with women at all (this perplexes me, and honestly, I imagine these must all be men from the previous category, or misogynistic gays, perhaps), but most are perfectly fine having one night stands, fwb/fuck buddies, etc. but don't date and have no plans for marriage (either currently or forever) because of the social expectations on them to throw money at the woman. Society, as a genera rule, expects men to financially support the women they fuck (while maintaining a Master level of cognitive dissonance about prostitution) and MGTOW men believe everyone ought to support themselves, even when you're fucking them.
Personally, I think MGTOW is a fine idea, men shouldn't have to pay for sex or a relationship unless it's up front and both parties agree that's what's happening. I hate games and any social revolution that gets rid of them is fine by me. I'm not against men choosing to be a sugar daddy, but in those cases it's a fair trade. Some rich 3-5 dude having an agreement with a 7+ chick is fine by me, I'm just against all men being treated like one by all women, and then women turn around and act justified to deny sex, deny the trade and (I guess?) pretend that she thinks men enjoy giving money away for no reason.
