Beyond that, it's not really a one size fits all, but there will always be a weakness hiding in there that can be exploited. 

In many ways, expecting you to be manipulative can make you more manipulative. Expectation itself can be a weapon just as much as blind sighting.

I agree with TC completely on those points. Don't give up just yet Mr. dark raven. You can use anything to your advantage.

Playing with someone's self doubt makes a lot of sense, but it would have to be one of the more intricate plans, considering doing anything too overtly will tip him off rather quick.
