Making you afraid and forcing you to change your way of life is what the terrorists want. Stirring up hate and division among their enemies is what they want. Turning people within a country against one another, making us renounce our own values and RULE OF LAW is what they want. When they have done it, they have won. They stuck by their guns while we cracked under pressure. I believe we should be better than this.
Okay....here we are. Hold that thought ^^^^^^ and switch perspective....
To be 'better than this'....is to stick by your own guns, Eddie. If you were to take a closer look at both yours and TFIs arguments, you might find that the desired outcome is not quite as dissimilar as it initially appears....albeit, I do not have any desire to legitimize the rantings of a 7th century schizophrenic pedophile in the 21st century...and as Syst also accurately stated, nations where Sharia and Islam exist are 100's of years behind the rest of the world.so....the most beneficial conclusion on any basis, both long and short term is the banning of Islam and delegitimizing it as a dangerous sect on a legal basis. Legally rewriting the legitimacy of promoting the islamic cult as "hate speech" would be one positive step in a more civilized direction.
And..Eddie, please keep in mind your point, about how it is the second generation muslims raised in Europe that tend to be the most poisonous and deranged
Dumb approach right there. The biggest terrorist attacks (and the majority of them) have been carried out by homegrown muslims that were educated and even born in Western countries. Do you even check the backstories on these incidents.
^^ your words Eddie....so....taking the long view....what do you think the outcome is going to look like?
This 'integration' and 'moderate muslim' propaganda flies in the face of reality.....and for the life of me...I cannot understand how you rationalize it...really not. It's almost fascinating...
...lol...pass on the first...and the second is cool...but what to do after the 20 years are up? Time flies while staring at your own navel contemplating the point of existence....even though it was never a question to start with...
First 20 years of life are mostly monk like....kids exploring existence and interpreting experience. But it is interesting when taken out of their known environment and plopped into others...to see how they deal with it in reality....at the same time, knowing what you will or will not tolerate is another aspect...so...lol...
#Suicide4Islam
You seem articulate and I would like to know more about your views.
How would you outlaw a faith? It's been tried many times before but do you know any times when it has worked? If so, how long did it take to wipe out a religion? Do you think Christianity should also be outlawed? Why or why not? Do you think people must adhere to the same beliefs to live peacefully?
You can't. Belief cannot be legislated for or against. However, as is the current situation in Europe, it can be slowed or even out right denied practice in any public manner. Education of the young would be required to address the problem in reverse of what is currently going on...which is the promotion of Islam on western soil. Countless examples of that.
Christianity, Judaism, I have no problem with those...pretty much leave each other alone as it is. Barring the oddball.
Shared similar principles do not require belief to allow for peaceful coexistence.

You can' t deligitimize the religious practice of millions of people without compromising your values of freedom, democracy, current rule of law, human rights. Doing so, you will have to turn into an authoritarian state, deal out massive abuse against the millions who won't comply, be torn by civil war and clashes of mentality within society not only between muslims and the government, but also between people like me who would hate your government and the government. Why waste all this energy instead of inventing robots and fast cars and curing dementia and shit.

Meta mentioned "Merkel's terrorist refugees" when I asked for his solution in dealing with terrorism TODAY. He proved he knows shit about the situation, and my point that he only criticizes without putting forth any solutions for TODAY.
Radicalization happens now because of present issues like the rise of IS and media coverage that turns killers into superstars and spreads their message. These are factors acting now. They weren't there decades ago when islamic terrorism was absent, they won't be in 20 years time unless the governments refuse to deal with the issues of TODAY. Something which flies over Meta's head.
This 'integration' and 'moderate muslim' propaganda flies in the face of reality.....and for the life of me...I cannot understand how you rationalize it...really not. It's almost fascinating...
Clashes between groups of people with different ideologies and religions have always happened in the past. There were wars and extremely bloody tensions between Catholics and Protestants in the past, now they are living together, aren't they? Back then there were many people like you who couldn't imagine peace and integration possible. In time, people learn to adapt and work together.
As far as terrorism goes, look at the entire shit between IRA and England. IRA acted in a similar manner. It took decades, but the conflict settled. One of the main reasons for that was intelligence services infiltrating the IRA and simply murdering the people involved. No publicity. They'd just go in their homes and execute them secretly. Imo, this is what needs to happen with islamic radicals: infiltrate, pick them up like stray dogs, no big noise around it. Act swiftly and brutally on the target.

Alright, so you outlaw the second largest religion of the world. I assume you close mosques, censor media (and ALL social media, fb, youtube), burn/ban books and movies of anything muslim. We are already in fantasy land.
How will you check if the people comply? Raids, even in homes, if people gather in private homes to pray or spread among themselves muslim material? Do you burst in? What about online activity? How much of a police state do you think your state would need to be? XD
What will the punishments be for those caught practicing islam and how will you carry them out? At least at first, you'd deal with millions of such breaches at the same time.
How do you expect the people will react? XD Don't you think you'll fight back?
The soviet union persecuted christians in recent history. Even with a complete authoritarian regime, it was impossible. It gave christians new martyrs, new saints, new strength. People still practiced and died for their faith, and killed others for their faith. Imagine what the muslims would do, and rightfully so.
Regular muslims, especially those in civilized countries, hate the IS and the entire terrorist shit. Why make more enemies out of current allies?
Also, why do you think, of all the countries, France has the greatest problem with homegrown extremism? France has been probably the most aggressive secularizing country. Many even mention this as a cause for frustration and disconnection among the muslims with the rest of society, which has led to radicalization of some. Who knows.
Imo, letting people come to their conclusions on their own is the best way to go. You cry and despair, but you don't seem to get how young modern society is when you call it a failure. Give it some time. It will take more than a few centuries, you can't force secularization to happen when a single person lives around fucking 80. Hell 70 years ago were in WW.

yes, in fact it can be done....but as the current situation makes it plain, it would be messy. My Freedom and Democracy as well as current rule of Law has already been compromised in favor of Islam....this is a problem. You cannot spin away from that fact , Eddie. Who is dealing out massive abuse? How is it abusive to not allow nor promote Islam in predominantly Christian countries? That is a silly idea. And yet again you leap over the hideous fact of the the roots of Islam, 7th century nutter and pedophile...get real here...read the Hadith's and the whole bag of shit to know what it is you are promoting tolerance for.
In my current location, the entire train station was overrun in the middle of the day to 'celebrate' some fking Islamic aspect of Ramadan. It was and remains disrespectful to the natives of the country....but they said nothing...as they are too polite. How that sort of entitlement can be promoted or tolerated is beyond me and yet it is blatant in its action. Exceptionally rude and vulgar as it impinged on the freedom of movement of thousands of others.
How will you check if the people comply? Raids, even in homes, if people gather in private homes to pray or spread among themselves muslim material? Do you burst in? What about online activity? How much of a police state do you think your state would need to be? XD
Not much different than the current regime...run by the EU ...lol...so just change the target of interest....should work rather well...and Deportation will handle the rest ;-)
What will the punishments be for those caught practicing islam and how will you carry them out?
Never suggested that, Eddie...nor was it implied. However, deportation is reasonable, don't you think? If they are so in love with Allah they can love him in their native country equally well, wouldn't you agree? But you see...they came to Europe for the quality of life and spread of Islam...under the guise of refugees, because Islam is a fking fail in reality wherever it exists.

Certainly, after they have been deported to their countries of origin, they can kill each off for whatever reasons they deem sane, which as we know are none...but that hasn't stopped them in 1400 years and they are not about to stop on European soil either. ( as per your own observation)

Do you have the numbers to back up that statement? Or is it anecdotal based on recent events...France is intolerant of many cultures, and always has been, Islam is not being extra specially slighted....rather it ran into a country that has told them to go fk themselves and meant it.
Imo, letting people come to their conclusions on their own is the best way to go.
You are joking, correct? That is occurring and people are being silenced through "Hate Speech' laws....seriously , Eddie...wake up.
