So, requirements of this position (which pays 120-150K "all in") are as follows.
Bachelor's degree from a top school with a strong GPA; and strong financial modeling skills. CFA and/or MBA and Series 7, 63, 86, 87 licenses a plus
1. Should I go for the CFA?
(My friend who wants out of finance says it's not hard; it's just the sheer volume of the study. It's also a three- year commitment for charter)
2. Should I go to a financial modeling bootcamp.
Of course the prerequisites for this position are 2-3 years at the analyst level.
I am applying for global health, international health NGO stuff, but I keep coming back to an interest in finance. It probably would pay better too.
So, where should I start. I can't be out of work much longer
Thanks in advance
