WTF ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING IT'S TURNING INTO GENERICMUSICTHREAD23421343124324
It'd be hard to breakdown the story of this song entirely. In short, this thing that you are fighting when the track is played is fighting a losing battle, that even it recognizes. When it's on it's last legs it resorts to a self damaging act as a desperate attempt to elude what it was destined to do from the start, die. This thing is in short the combined and collaborative willpower of many people fighting on a certain side for a flawed cause you knew was wrong from the start. This includes the protagonists you play from the 1st and 2nd games. The sheer desperation of this enemy, of all those people to hang onto the cause invokes a mix of pity and anger I've rarely felt outside of looking at myself, feels.
This song, Beethoven's 7th, was used in the 2006 movie The Fall.
In this film, an injured movie stuntsman tells a fantastical epic story to a fellow patient, a little girl with a broken arm.
As you may see from the clip, the stuntsman fell from the bridge on his horse and the horse subsequently had to be pulled out of the water beneath.
**Every time I hear this piece of music I am reminded of that episode, which I always interpreted as his suicide attempt. It truly is a beautiful, haunting piece of music.
Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine.
My original intent was to learn to play this on the piano well enough that I could sing it at the same time.
In reality, since I don't read music that fast, I only got a few bars into my recording.
This song is best played when you miss someone.
I think this is better than my first post in hindsight.
