Probably, but so will the bugs.
You're better off putting down some seed for them.

Pick a 1m x 1m up to 3m x 3m patch of concrete and put the food there every day, in the same place.
They'll figure it out in less than a week.
My birds even came up to my patio door and knocked when I was late with their food <3
Yes.
That's why you pick a specific place and put the food there every time.
Back when they were peeping at my patio door, there was too much birdpoop around.
So when I moved, I started feeding my new birds about 5m away from the house.
We get rain at least twice/ week, tho. Not sure how that would work in a place that doesn't.
The rain constantly washes the poop away here.
