We will play several games. Once we have enough people willing to play I will match up players and we will play games on https://lichess.org/. The person who wins advances to the next round. Until the last two players battle to determines the winner. Personally I think chess is one of the better ways to test intelligence. It is a game that tests your ability to use logic. It show you ability to understand cause and effect. It reflects you ability to play and control other people and know what is going on inside their head. It tests your memory. If you don't play chess well you likely are unintelligent in many other fields. Many of the best chess players have went on to be rich and successful business men and media figures. Demis Hassabis arguably the smartest person alive was a chess champion at 13 with one of the highest elo ratings. He now controls deep mind in a partnership with google the most successful AI know to man. What are your options on chess?
You are right. However Intelligence and how fast can learn play the biggest role in my option. If you are not intelligent you would not put the time in to play because it would not be rewarding because you are not smart. Same with how serious you take it. If you are smart you will take the game far more seriously. Watch all the unintelligent member of SC bash chess its going to be hilarious. They will bash chess even knowing how it will make them look. Stupid people cant help but fall for these things that blatantly give them away even if giving all warnings.
Chess is another one of those things I never bothered learning to do bc everybody I ever met who could teach me was a narcissistic fuck looking for a dick measuring contest.
I'd be happy to learn from an SC member and practice for a few years with friends on SC or elsewhere.
But not you.
And what I learn will not be used in some SC dick measuring contest.
btw, my first game with my lucky SC volunteer coach will be my 3rd chess game ever.
I'm nearly virgin ;D
I taught my self chess. You dont need anyone to teach you. Most of the players I have meet are people who are interested in bettering themselves and are some of the most humble and honest people I know. Do you meet a lot of narcissistic people? Is that perhaps a reflection of your own self?
You should teach you self the basics first. Learning on your own is a important life skill that you will need if want to be intelligent. It requires being honest about your own lack of knowledge. Its hard but I would recommend not making excuses for your inability as a start.
I would not teach you unless you had the incentive to learn on your own and natural ability.
See you are putting down this chess battle because you already know the out come will make you look foolish. How transparent.
You make excuses constantly instead of being honest. I did not have a teacher. The players are too narcissistic. I wont compete not because I cant play, and have no logical ability or natural wit, but because I dont want to measure my self to others. Then you call it names to try and take away seriousness form the competition to protect your ego form the inevitably. What a predictable response.
