Denmark, France and Netherlands have been talking about referendums for forever. A couple yappy, nostalgic, nationalistic assholes wasting some £200mil. tax payer's for an indictment of Britain's educational system is not the catalyst.
There might be some contagion if the UK drop out in a comfortable manner, but it's hard to see the EU letting that happen. Even Gove is predicting four years of negotiations in the event of an exit...
...despite the two year limit for EU negotiations.
If the results are in favor of leaving and the government doesn't, then this is another reason to leave.
The consequences is freedom. No crisis is worth that.
Also, seems 50% of everyone in the UK are not "well-informed or powerful". If that is true, then wouldn't this mean that democracy sucks, because stupid people vote?
Or maybe its an opinion and both sides have reasons.
Mmhmm...will be interesting to see how this plays out. Were it such that the media was not already gagged about the facts of the ethnicities and the crimes associated with, I think this would be a landslide for Brexit.
Looks like some Germans are already on the run. Bulgarian real estate me see an upsurge in value.
No reason to be found in Islam...lol...
The regular people are dumb and uninformed when it comes to complex political and economical ramifications. They are also easily influenced by campaigns centered around things they dislike at the moment, and easily moved to support those who "promise" to change that shit without understanding that the change would be much worse for them. Exploiting current discontent, promising "change" to issues people are upset about is an easy exploitable trick for the masses employed by those who want to grab the power. People will bite the bait and grab the instant relief promised without thinking of the consequences.
