Maybe you could argue rape is more accepted where he's from and thus he didn't fully know, or feel rather, that it was as wrong as we in the west deem it to be?

Do you believe that such situations ("worlds")  occur in a vacuum, spontaneously? 

 In 2016, we are roughly 7-8000  years past mesolithicum (the last global era of so-called "equal possibilities".  Not that they were even remotely equal, southern regions having won the climatic lottery at the time..)

Does it matter for the individual being born into it? I'm privileged and lucky to have been born into the west, and I realize there's a lot of people not so lucky as me.

Then again, the social justice crowd always shared the same rhetorics with the creationists. 

That there's missing children is to be expected given the number of migrants but I haven't read anything stating there's a sex trade involving them.

The people that moved there ran sex-trade rings. Do you know anything about corruption in the Middle East, or how rampant it is?

I'm not following. I'm saying individuals are heavily influenced by the culture and circumstances they're born into, that's it.
