Any philia only describes the urge, not the action.

Some philias are less likely to turn into actual sex acts bc of legal problems.

The legal penalties for fucking corpses are not that severe, so the term is usually used to refer to people who have snuck into funeral homes and fucked actual dead things.

But technically, becoming sexually aroused by pics is enough to earn the label necrophiliac.

I am not aroused by corpses tho. Unless they look alive, in which case it doesn't count imo. Because its your perception that defines what you see. And if you perceive someone as alive, then you like them alive, not dead, regardless if they are actually dead.

With that said, what i do like is torture, which is before death.

Dead females are pretty, especially if its gory. I do not get too much of a hard on from their corpses, more of what happened before that.
