In approximately twelve hours, I will have to give up my best friend. I just wanted to share all my memories with this friend one last time and let Fred know how much he is appreciated.
Fred, you taught me so much. By using the keys on your keyboard, I have gained an infinite amount of knowledge. I know this year has been crazy and full of ups and downs, but you were always there for me. When I was depressed or sad, you allowed me to look up pictures of kittens and chocolate. When I was seeking knowledge, you held your hands out to me. I will never forget these great deeds nor will I forget you Fred. Fred, I love you. You were the best computer a person could hope for. Your keys were low down and didn't make huge clacking noises as I typed. Your screen shone bright every morning to greet me with news. Countless memories have come to pass thanks to you. I honestly don't know what I'll do without you Fred. Now I just have my two phones (one I got rid of). Thanks to you, I have not died of boredom. I owe you my life. For seventy-five score and three hours I have typed on your magnificent keys and looked upon your marvelous screen. I am devastated to have to let you go.
All in all Fred, I hope that you are passed on to a good caretaker next year. I hope that this person respects you and values you. I hope that this person keeps you clean and doesn't crack your screen. I'm praying for you Fred. As we spend the last twelve hours together, I will be making a trip down memory lane (as I download all my content to the Cloud). Thank you Fred.
