SC gamers. What have your more recent gaming joys been?

What older games to you still play?

Are there games you like despite knowing full well they are pretty shit.

What have some of the best FPS/MOBA/Competitive gaming flames been?

Who here plays retro?

Not meaning to be specific, those are just examples of the kind of shit that i'm curious of.

I've gamed since i was a kid. SC People's perspective on gaming might be cool.

Horror video game.

What older games do you still play?

I don't play much until I have no school work... I get too addicted to games to play during school.

Are there games you like despite knowing full well they are pretty shit.

Umm not really.

What have some of the best FPS/MOBA/Competitive gaming flames been?

Not sure what that means... I played assassins creed online version.

Who here plays retro?

Nope.

Games I like...

Assassins creed, sims, minecraft, legend of zeldan, elder scrolls, brutal legend, lego games, infamous, star wars force unleash... I sometimes play soem games my brother gets in which I do not care for their names. I play them a few hours and then play the games I really like...

My top favorite,

legend of zelda twilight princess, legend of zelda elder scrolls, assassins creed and oblvion elder scrolls.

I mostly just like assassins creed because I like to jump off of buildings and land on people and sneak kill people... Btw an assassins creed movie is coming out soon.

"SC gamers. What have your more recent gaming joys been?"

Modding games and playing with a group of friends while chatting through skype

"What older games to you still play?"

depends what you mean by older

"Are there games you like despite knowing full well they are pretty shit."

Halo Wars, it was my life even though it was a horrible monstrosity of a console rts

"What have some of the best FPS/MOBA/Competitive gaming flames been?"

Play Dota 2 and pick phantom assassin, listen to peruvians curse you out in their native tongue for the whole hour long game(even if you do good)

"Who here plays retro?"

Never heard of it

"I've gamed since i was a kid. SC People's perspective on gaming might be cool."

Me too and I'll be a life long gamer. It was my way of getting away from stress as a kid and I really cant say I treasure anything more than a dark room, some pizza, an ass ton of pop and a long night of co-op gameplay with my friends

I guess posting on megaman forums is a better use of time?

By older games i mean 80's, 90's and early 2k games.

I still enjoy some titles from the 8 bit 64K era.

I still love Donkey Kong and Kung Fu Master.

When i was younger, a pocket full of coins and an arcade was wonder.

Edit: Also getting my game on with friends is a favourite experience of mine. Pizza and video games are like apple pie and ice cream.

@TheFuckIt -- Still love it. :)

Games I play now, in order of frequency: Overwatch, Black Desert Online, Guild Wars 2, Champions Online, Star Trek Online.  An older game I may play sometimes and still love is Psychonauts.  I really only squeeze random and limited time for games, so it's not that I'm necessarily a chronic gamer.  I used to be part of a clan for years for Day of Defeat that did tournaments and competitions and leagues.

I'm part of a few different guilds and one that's more of a "community" than a guild, per se, since we do things on a variety of games together.

This is the ideal form of socialization for a recluse like myself.

I spend even more time with music-making software than I do gaming, tbh.

After being worn out from dealing with work, people and reality, I often just prefer a movie or something to read.  I'm pretty boring.

STO is quality. I had good times with the space combat and met some cool cats.

Overwatch has me curious as it's getting some good praise.

Yeah, I remember STO when it first started and was a little "meh" to me.  However, of a free-to-play title, it's enormously expanded and added a lot of great features like duty officers, actually being able to walk around inside your ships, etc.  It's very underrated, imo.
