Don't do it, bud. It's a fucked up terrible movie.

Bullshit, it's amazing. I even have a T-Shirt and Poster of it to celebrate how perfect that it truly is. Watched in a pitch black room, large screen, surround sound, sitting back absorbing the cerebral experience, it's amazing. The expert use of exaggerated lighting, prosthetic parts, dilated sounds, it's a work of art that pushes the medium further than Lynch's works typically dare. The plot is also entirely experimental and dream-like, even more so than his other films that tend to dance the line of the uncanny valley. 

There's a certain sort of appetite that you need to be able to appreciate such raw art. His enjoyment of films like The Room has me thinking that he's likely to get it.
