Yeah its actually fucking ridiculous, and there is almost literally nothing that can be done about it. I'm not even

confident I can trust my microwave, but its better to just ignore those thoughts.

It doesn't matter too much as long as you aren't a fucking idiot. If all the illegally obtained evidence was usable in court, it would matter A LOT. It doesn't matter if you know, it matters if I'm liable. If I am liable, its because of my personal mistake (even if my mistake was trusting somebody). I guess I am speaking more in terms of drugs/terrorism than child porn though. If you have a decent understanding of how shit works, you can avoid a warrant.
