Non-American Opinions of Trump

Ofc, if you're American. Do you believe it's feasible and realistic though?

Wait, what?

You don't think the US benefits from NATO?

You think the world wants the US to act as a policeman? What?

Are you from the US, or not?

I'll stay out of it for now, as I appreciate the potential this topic has.

You're welcome to state your opinion.

But don't make me ask why, or to elaborate. Be thorough.

EDIT: Not that that's normally an issue for you XD

The US invoked NATO's Article 5 on 9/11...

NATO has had enormous influence in US foreign policy for a very, very long time.

For good reason.

I don't at all wish to patronise, but I get the feeling you aren't fully aware of modern NATO engagements?

Nato was designed in an era where the focus was on traditional state-to-state conflicts, the question that's being asked of it is what is its role in an age where state boundaries are blurred and the biggest threats come from organisations or concepts which don't have any respect for or understanding of them. And it hasn't provided an answer to that imo.

I'm not from the US, but can understand why they would question others' commitment when they are only one of what, four countries, that pay their fair share.

There isn't much I disagree with him about.

His primary policy consists of bringing in money. With the US national debt now at 19 Trillion dollars, it's long past the time for the US to avoid economic collapse. For this reason Trump is good, cause it will avoid a recession so massive, more American's will end up losing their homes after having to put it up for mortgage from maxing out credit cards in a time when there is no work, and no income for many.

They say Trump is a bully, but he only really strikes back on those who grilled him in some way, though he doesn't have a sophisticated vocabulary he does exercise his freedom of speech while he takes his aggressor to school with truths topped with 2 cents.

I enjoyed his response to Elizabeth Warren's attacks.

Trump asked Sanders for a 1 on 1 debate, then $10,000,000 can go to charity. Sanders replied how they should do this in the biggest stadium possible. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw this.

I think that's an extremely brilliant move on Trump's behalf, targeting Sanders and not Hillary, she'll lose votes over that event. Trump will continue to surge above them as he is now.

In advance, Trump has the majority of republican support. His closest competition in the Republican race that is already done, already dropped out, as it's proven impossible for him to beat Trump. If the Republican's don't vote for the Donald, he'd run as an independent, then republicans won't even be in office. He has over 80% of republican backing him.

Someone said Trump is doing this for Power and money. He already has those thing, especially the money. US Presidents have a yearly salary of 400k. Trump can in all actuality afford to wipe his ass with that. One of my theories as to why he's running for president is to immortalize himself as a part of the history and making of the United States.
