completely agree. have you been seeing a therapist or smth lol?
Hmm... not sure what to say bc your criticism seems sincere and intended to be constructive.
I'll just say that I know my own mind and my own circumstances very well, thanks. I do appreciate your attempt at being helpful.
But...erm... that's not why I came here.
Your toy will never break, Turn. This one has a good deal of experience with wearing costumes and masks and playing various bit parts. ;)
Have any of you ever noticed that the toys you play with are all kinda the same, no matter who you choose for the role?
If WW and I were to leave, my guess would be that your next cut & paste pinatas would be Hind and Smithy.
Another aging mom and another aspie, all very different from TK and Dex and WW and myself. But close enough on the surface that you'll try to pound them into what you think they should be.
Then you'll read umpteen reactions into their responses, whether they actually respond the way you want them to or not.
Just sayin.

It may help you so much more to stop pretending this place doesn't matter to you or that the people here don't elicit emotions in you. This constant denial you use to help you feel strong is just a temporary fix. Under all of the bullshit lies sensitivities that will never leave you until you start facing them with open eyes. Just as confidence is better than arrogance, pretending to be strong where you're weak keeps you from growing stronger. I'm no longer a supporter of the 'fake it till you make it' motto. Just sayin'.
Shhh, don't break our toy~
