I'd say it's less about the age and more about the differences in maturity, in wisdom and experience. Her at 25 with him at 39 is at least a little more of an even playing field when compared to an adult with a confused high schooler, one with a still budding sense of identity.

Lower experience makes it easier to be taken advantage of.
