This is just the after match of 1945.
A cultural subversion, first tested in Germany, then put to mass produce in America and now spilled over EU. Didn't work in Russia, because Putin is ex-KGB and he is aware.

Life is extremely orderly and there is no chance involved.
You can almost calculate the future. Actually many people do just that and then they may force the future they want.
Even if every event in the universe can be predicted in theory, a human can't do that. There's no way to know if a meteorite won't strike you next time you step out of your house. There's the big universe, and there's the small scale on which we carry out our lives, with huge limitations, with unpredictability, with surprises. It should humble us knowing how little we can truly control at the end of the day.

All my apocalyptic fantasies are narcissistic. I want them because deep down they'll yield the answer to my potential, to do what needs to be done and what I'll do to live
Something I live for
Do you feel like this non apocalyptic world is too easy for you? That it gives you little opportunity to test and prove yourself? I'd say on the contrary. Your craving for a dramatic change in how the world works comes from your not so successful struggles to prove your worth and accomplish things by the current standards.
We will control everything at the end of time.
Perhaps we wont control the end of time itself.
But i am not so sure about that either.
A human can make a machine to calculate everything, to monitor everything, to be a human's eyes, ears, mouth, breath, brain, body, etc.
Anything that exists can be recreated using human methods.
Whatever we can't do now, we will be able to do in the future.
Just look at the time span of civilization and science in comparison of the time span of the entire human race, then look at the time span of the human race in comparison of Earths life, then look at the time span of Earth's existence in comparison of the universe's existence. Then you will see how many things humanity has accomplished in so little time, its less them a blink in the face of the universe. Imagine what we can do by the time it all ends(if it ends).
Human advancement is a progressive function, the levels at which we will progress in the future will be just outstanding.
Humans are amazing beings in all regards. I do not know why people hate humanity and/or human nature. Its the most amazing and beautiful of them all. Cats are pretty too tho.
What people called magic 300-500 years ago, is real now. And it will be the same in 300 years from now.
I would not jump to assumptions.
The thing is...I can be pretty successful when I want to be successful. I mean I was accepted in one of the top twenty universities in the world. I still crave the apocalypse because I want to see everything turn upside down. I don't want to live a meaningless life. I mean sure the "Grow up, get a job, have kids, retire, die" sounds adequate. I find I have more potential that I want to tap. I personally would like to meet aliens and learn about their culture. It would probably be even more satisfying than an apocalypse.
