My avatars usually just consist of bizarre art that I find appealing.
For the longest time I used a Louis Wain painting because I found it pleasing.
I switched to this avatar because I find something pleasantly unsettling about it.

The Doge avatar wasn't even a main point of the image discussion, it was merely mentioned. The rest of those points I elaborated on, still stand uncontested.
He was right on point. You then proceed typing as if we cared about the avatar, really hard.
"Image" doesn't mean avatar. The avatar contributes to it in an overly intentional way, but we don't give nearly as much of a shit about it, both by comparison and in general.
