In tandem to this automatic, unworded sorting and dissemination, there's a sort of "thought superposition" which I've noticed is a little bit more difficult to explain in conversation with someone about something. Similar to the categories you described, there are cross-references, which are sort of like "tags" that can be in a sort of "thought cloud" of some conceptual sort. They have their sets of dynamic interrelations, which adds to fuller, richer integrative reasoning. However, it means being able to have sometimes contradictory or seemingly incompatible thoughts on something, which often is more exhausting to explain than the subject itself. This just happens in my head when considering anything ...a map of probability will emerge, abstractly, with correlations and qualifiers. This can be about a person's motivations, the consequences of a decision, the interrelations of different levels of a hierarchy, whatever. What can't be worded turns abstract, visual, and feels more like an intuition or instinct, with a feeling-toned type of emanation than strictly enumerable or symbolizable.

In my post i used the word "Category" but it was only used in context. The true definition is "Entity" or "Object". An entity can consist of many sub-entities and/or just standard non complex information(which consists of variables). When i plan/think about things, i sometimes imagine how the entity from where i start to plan/think branches off in possible new entities, each one having a different range of variables. And then the new ones can branch as well. And i only focus on the most likely variable ranges and i ignore those that are impossible or unlikely.
Tagging seems disorganized, but good for a search, to me.
And i like to organize and be efficient and fast in it, while also being stable. To be stable i need correct information and for that i use entities i have already defined. Or i will start to define a new one. And then i can just reference to the information in this entity to do my thinking, or reference to the information in any entity thats a sub entity of the original one from which i started, then i can do the same to each sub entity and so on. Usually i work with bigger(containing many smaller entities) entities and i ignore the details in the sub-entities, as they are irrelevant, until you pick a path to think about. Ignoring these details is efficient. Once i pick a thinking path i can look at the details(sub-entities and the info they contain), to which level, depends on how much effort i am willing to spend on the subject at hand.
I have never explained this before lol.
Oh, and by those racing thoughts and "rapid causal thinking" I mean the kind that seems like unconnected thinking when considered from an outside perspective -- like trying to explain sudden correlations you make to someone, or not showing your work in math (but still correct), like it's too fast to "language" the thoughts.

It can be, sure. It's ad hoc, usually in the moment, and not the easiest to sort and make clean reference. This is part of the problem, sort of. Unwording things and placing them as more abstract and interrelated systems that often feel autonomous means they can have activity that seem counterproductive. At least, it is not as readily accessible through rational thinking, since a lot has irrational(-seeming) characteristics, almost giving them their own identity of sorts. Whatever referent points led to that conglomeration often has to be fully, more-consciously traced, when the memory or knowledge gets obfuscated by continuous additions and alterations. I think it contributes to the out-of-control feeling of racing thoughts and impulses. I wish my mind were a little more clean. There's streamlining, but better navigation tools are left wanting.
