I don't think life is easier by avoiding challenges. Growing as a person is like learning to walk. If you avoid it, you will have to keep crawling in dirt.

Terminal illnesses like cancer.

Depends on your current mindset and what mindset you want to achieve.

I don't know.

Challenges either make or break people. There is a lot to learn in overcoming problems and also a lot to learn by being defeated.

On the other hand being defeated by can also fuck peoples mind hard and turn them bitter, defensive and contemptuous.

Being as disciplined as I expect myself to be.

I don't know how to answer that.

Stuff like drug addiction and depression.

Some politicians seem to be mentally challenged.
