I know that it releases for many people while their body is dying. But not much else about why it's there other than that.

Our bodies have all kinds of chemicals and hormones in them. Chemical machines. They can get out of wack easy.

The body naturally produces small amounts of DiMethylTryptamine (DMT). It is the most powerful hallucinogen known to man. It has been detected in blood, urine and spinal fluid. The scientists are not sure why it is present in the body. It is assumed that it is a byproduct of a chemical reaction. I wonder if it influences us in any way...
