I do not know why we concern ourselves so much with 3rd world countries. They reproduce too much while being unable to sustain even the current population, of course they will have problems. And those problems are not our problems. Any help we offer is just us being nice. The last thing we should do is sacrifice our way of life for theirs. With what have they deserved this and why should i personally care about it?
And one of our problems is under population.

It's actually quite special that people identify gender as part of their identity so much.
Precisely my thoughts - except ’special’ is a tad too polite term for my liking.
Well, strictly spoken it’s not fully binary - there’s that extremely small percentage of legit biological (anatomical / chromosomic) hermaphrodites. But they account for only a very small fraction of “non-binary†people.
For the majority rest of the gender-identity brigade, it’s all in the head. ‘Gender dysphoria’ is a diagnosed mental condition, no matter how they want to normalise the abnormal / re-write the DSM. Meanwhile the pharma industry is laughing all the way to the bank.
That said, I don't mind anyone living to their heads' contents, as long as they don't try to turn their identity issues into politics.
Your head's content = your business. Not a public affair - never will be. Don't try to impose it upon others, don't try to re-write reality / language. It will not happen.
(I actually quite like trannies (the male-to-female ones) - they are easy on the eye and tend to piss off all the 2nd wave feminists.)

Do you think there are no brain differences in trans people compared to cis people? Studies already hint at a difference.
Yup, there are indeed. They are called "mental illness" since quite a long while already, and not without a reason. You may be a tad behind schedule regarding those 'studies'.
(^ well that came out a bit harsh perhaps. No axes to grind with you, SSoul. But we live in polarised times, in part due to those 'identity politics' (more of a symptom than the cause). As far as I know both (all) genders have the mental capacity to theoretically identify as the other, without turning it into an issue.)

Gender roles and gender are two different things. I see gender as binary and gender roles a social construct with some link to biology. There is a biological basis for some of the stereotypical differences between men and women. Physical differences such as strength and the ability to have a baby impact how people relate to the world. And hormones obviously drive behaviour - in nature, regardless of species, a mother and her cub/offspring, are considered the most dangerous animals to encounter.
Gender roles are less pronounced today (in N. America) and have evolved a lot. I think this is good as it removes expectations and allows people to embrace and be who they are. I think men are struggling the most with changing gender roles right now.
I get along with both genders equally but I derive different benefits from each.
This perfectly sums up my feelings on the subject, and saves me the time of fumbling for the words. I'll add that I have never been close to either one of my parents, but I didn't care at all for my father. He was the easiest to walk away from and after a decade gone I still don't care if I ever see him again.
