I believe I work with a sociopath. He's a generally nice guy, very even tempered. He's one of my favorite people at the office because he minds his own business and sometimes has a funny comment or two. I think he is one due to his past and present occupations, and a few things he's mentioned about his personality. 

As you say, we all probably meet lots in a lifetime, along with many other types of disordered people. I don't think there is a specific reaction from me. All people are the same until their disorderedness affects me.

it's not like aspd is a 1 in a million disorder. statistically, you should have met many sociopaths by now.

i personally don't think twice about it. i just think "this person seems way less vulnerable than others. meh, moving on." then again, i usually don't care to form friendships/relationships so people's personalities will probably matter a lot less. lol.

lol. it completely depends on what kinda personality they exhibit, like anyone else really. except that crazy bitch who lived in my building last year. she scared the fucking shit outta me. but anyone who's obviously a sociopath within seconds of meeting them is one to watch. she was utterly unhinged.

Dating a socio at the moment. This sounds cliche, but the relationship feels more like a game of chess, rather one of 'love'.

Definitely keeps things interesting for once.
