I hate the things that say "you can't be a sociopath if you do this". There will always be certain people in any sociopaths life that if something terrible happens to them, the sociopath will care in some way, and in the right situation will help certain people get through shit. To think otherwise is hilariously ignorant.
Poll: Do you think itis possible for a person to be mildly sociopathic? As in fit everyother trait of sociopathy, but still feel empathy for certain people? E.g. family and close friends? This is a serious question.
If you wonder why i'm asking it's because i fit every other trait for sociopathy, but i still feel empathy for certain people. Have you ever met someone like me?
It is definitely possible to be selectively empathetic and it's actually pretty common among people, they vilify the person or mentally minimize the effects they believe it'll have on the person in order to be able to commit certain acts that are against the well-being and happiness of the person for personal benefit / revenge / a power rush
