Seeing that Santa was blatantly stolen to the point of rescheduling Jesus' birthday, that their holidays root from Paganism, and that Satan borrows symbols from other religions deities in an effort to demonize them, it's easy to assume that Easter was yet another stolen artifact. They even used the rebirth symbol completely wrong by taking it too literally.
