Satan doesn't punish sinners.
God merely makes it convenient for people who desire punishment at some level, to become satisfied.
After all Satan is merely the accuser.

Maybe it isn't but it supposedly lasts forever. Anything that lasts forever will get tedious with time. Let's assume heaven is like the Islamic version with 72 virgins and all kinds of pleasures. That would be fun for a while... After a thousand years it would be less fun. After 100000 years it would probably be unbearable. When a million years have passed most people would want to die... But they can't since it lasts forever and they know this. The only way it could be bearable is if it's some existence completely different to this one.
You have excellent speculation which will provide you with a keen intuition. You're not even asking any questions, very productive conversationalist.
Just to get it out of the way, I was born into Catholicism. I moved away from it while keeping a faith in search for the truth. When we look for something we find it in ways that are difficult to describe. For me it's beyond faith, and belief isn't even the right word to describe how much I think I know what's happening here. When asked, I'll say It's true.
You know by intuition, that it would be unpleasant to carry on as we are in this being. Yahweh, is the translated name of the highest, which is God's written name. I don't like to use religion as a source of information, because religion has become corrupt, narrow minded, and hypocritical. But I do resort to biblical reference.
It's been said, that we must let go of Earthly desires. The sex and drugs, the games and entertainment, the technology, the BMW our desires, the physical body, all things good and bad. These things are temporary, and it will not be the way of eternal life.
72 virgins to me sounds like it's of the flesh (the flesh being physical), and it would entail a self centered approach to eternity, and not a righteous one. I'm sure for a woman, being wife number 1 or wife number 9, wouldn't be all that fulfilling, especially throughout eternity. This is one of many comparisons that assist with my personal outlook on what the correct belief would be for the blind ( faith ).
Even if we can reverse the aging process and keep up the energy and live forever, we would grow tired of all of this, even if we were richer than Bill Gates with superstar status, or even a more anonymous status.
I'm writing this to you, and it could be boring for you to read, cause I know you've already contemplated these things, but I thought I'd make it clear that I get you 100%.
It was written that we will have new bodies. In that, the nervous filter of the physical body that created a sense of individuality/dualism will be gone. What we do here, really does impact our eternal soul, the moral teachings in the bible, this would also include the commandments, are indeed the way of a higher consciousness. A consciousness that is incredibly empathetic and aware of being all, including those who are experiencing duality. The commandments are guidelines and the way of the higher self. In the presence of a higher awareness, that would be the real you, cannot be lied to. Any malice would be petty in advance, and it would even be pointless for anyone to even try to pull any disrespectful stunts on such an advanced being. As it is even now, only the truth has substance, and even more so with more wakefulness.
It's beyond our imagination. It was written the dead shall rise, that's taken for granted as there are studies on afterlife experiences, which have similar themes. No one can explain why a malfunction of the brain would deliver a reality more real than this one. A place where we are greeted by masses of people we know for some reason. They all look great, and there are primary colours we've never seen. Those who were born blind will eternally never imagine or render a colour they have never seen, yet people come back from near death experiences totally astonished while unable to translate what they experienced in any language.
There are cases of millionaires who came back and gave away their riches and live to serve others, without any fear of death. It's easy to see how experiences transform people. This we already know.
In NDE studies, there are cases of hell visitations, and hell in some cases is described to be a darkness blacker than black, with a stench worse than the shittiest shit in the universe. It's not like the physical so even in this darkness the advanced senses of the soul body can detect it's environment better than the senses of the physical body in the physical world.
The textures of that hellish reality alone, is said to be terrifying. And some demons will be accompanying the fresh supply very shortly, and they are described to be nastier than any troll you've ever encountered, as they strive to ensure you remain there by provoking strife in their victims.
I wouldn't give credit to just any NDE story, though many of them pretty much have the same thing to say about Hell, which is enough to boggle the mind, while none of them are trying to turn any profit from it. They often babble intensely about how they wouldn't wish for their worst enemy to.... you know the rest.
On a side note, the embodied soul in our next state of being is the true self, as the ego is stripped away. It's then easy to understand, simply by wondering. Answers just come. Because of this speculation, it's believed that hell is self inflicted, what's then required is for a permanent state of being, that is the immortal soul, to transform but I think only God can modify that irreversible state of being. They say and it's been written that God can wipe the slate clean. Maybe he can reprogram what we've made of ourselves, but only on our request. The thing is, the souls in hell don't know anything about that, and they in turn curse God instead, which means they aren't ready, and maybe they never will be. Others have a strong sense of belonging in this terrible place.
One man's story about his visitation to hell, was the same as any other, but he described a giant demon I imagine was 15 feet tall dark skinned ripped to shreds, and just plain intimidating. But as his story went like many others, the man who was petrified in fear mentioned Christ, and the demon started getting freaked out while the demonic entity was trying to convince the man there is no such thing, before the creature had to flee the scene from a magnificent light that appeared.
The demons are angels, the fallen ones, their original appearance is still beautiful like the angels they once were. They don't like us because they envy us. God created us in his likeness. Details aside we are like fractals, similar but eternally different. It was written that we were made above the angels, believe it or not. I don't know how or why that is, but it's the angels who are to serve us. The angels are also more powerful than we are. They have been depicted to be able to defeat armies solo. Other beliefs that derived from various data suggests that we all have about 3 angels that are with us at all times.
The angel Lucifer was outraged with our status along with a smaller number of angels, which is why they really don't have anything better to do than to troll us, for the sake of destroying us. What more would an angry being such as an envious eternal being want, when they know God's love ?
It was written in the book of Genesis how Lucifer ( renamed Satan for some reason, unreliable sources suggest Satan hates his new name ) It was written how Man was given power over the Earth and all creatures that dwell on it, and through deception, man handed that power over to Satan, making his wrathful intervention on the Earth universally legal since it was man who empowered it, thus creating the holy war. The battle for the soul.
God said it Godself, he is a jealous God. But back to the book of Genesis, the fallen angels were said to come onto the daughters of man, and they had children. These children were the Nephilim. Some say they had terrifying features, like cone shaped heads, and some of them were extremely tall. The story of David and Goliath, is a popular tale, even to atheists and people who don't study religions, so it's easy to forget King David and Goliath are in the Bible. Anyway Goliath was a Giant, and that guy was also a Nephilim. The child of a fallen one, half human. The world was crawling with them, and they were nasty beings, for the world was full of sin due to a problem in the gene pool, it was on it's way to self destruction. It was for this reason, God did the big reset.
In the modern world we do not witness these kind of things the same way, and it's of service to the holy war for us not to see or even believe in them. That's another story all together. In short this chapter would be the Empire Strikes Back, while the demon has plugged itself back in. People sell their soul, they are then provided with fortune and fame. Some of our entertainers straight up say how they sold their soul to get where they are. They say it out in the open, but it falls on deaf ears. They openly glorify Satan too by showing their allegiance while hold their end of the bargain, and we just gobble it up. All popular music promotes sin. In most cases it's about promiscuous behavior, and idolatry. Murder and violence too, and amazingly music with the intent to promote healthy living standards is seen as uncool.

As for Heaven. People wonder about this place and where it is. Heaven is dimensional, including our universe. The Earth itself is in heaven, which would be outer space and all that's in it. What really makes Heaven for us, is access to it all. Access... What does that mean ? It's here and there and where you're not going in this life. It's been written that there are many mansions in heaven and everyone seems to have one, and how we'll build other homes there. I think it would be silly to assume these homes are like the ones we have here, but then again, why not ? You're an advanced eternal being capable of the impossible. DMT breakthroughs sometimes suggest witnessing intelligent beings, that offer advice. And they show off these objects, that are so staggering, if you can bring it back and show it off, the world would change simply by looking at these things those spirit beings manifest.
Religion is a sensitive subject because people devote themselves into it. A lie cannot work without some truths, but when it comes to various religions, only 1 technically can be true, unless we go quantum, then God can be this and that, and God is quantum. I cannot say what religion would be closer to the truth, but I do know, religions are rigged to battle one another.
Some religious people settle for agreeing that there is one God, and they worship the same God. Yahweh and Allah seem to be two different God's with some different outlooks. One says have many wives, while the other says have one wife.
I personally think it's inconsiderate to have many wives. The golden rule "Do onto Others, as you would have done to the self". I wouldn't want to be one of many husbands, as it surely is the road to hell if not for me, for one of the other hubbies, and I know in the grand spectrum it's about all.
