I am such a sucker for cheese.  My favourite just depends on when you ask.  Today I'm digging the idea of a nice brie paired with some cured salmon and fresh dill.....  -mouth waters-

Wine......  Eh.

What kind of wine do you prefer, and what kind of cheeses?

I tend to prefer mixing drinks with high proof alcohol, but if it has to be a type of wine I tend to like champagne.

For cheese I'm more of a pepper jack fan these days, but an extremely rich white cheddar I tried a few months back from a farmer's market had me hooked in a bad way.

Wine sucks.

Ugh. I like my cheese on cheap crackers from walmart. And I hate wine.

If I absolutely must  pretend to be some snooty connoisseur, I'll take a chablis.

Xena, there's nothing wrong with crackers from Walmart, if they're good, but I fail to understand why you might consider a lack of gustative sophistication as something to be proud of. Be adventurous and expand your sensual horizons! The cheese I mentioned costs about 8$, and you can get an excellent wine for less than 20 bucks. 

But hell, I can enjoy a game of beer pong as well as the next gal- just so long as the beer is a decent microbrew. :P
