I am here writing this because although I am surrounded by people as I go to college I find myself to be very alone, funny enough I do not find myself to be lonely though. I am a 20 year old male and I am incredibly bored with the people I am regularly exposed to, I also am incapable of having meaningful relationships weather they be with guys in my class or any females. I am here not for your pity but perhaps to see what the other kind of person in this world is like, the more interesting kind of person, the sociopath, and if there are any legitimate antisocial or even slightly psychotic gents out there, id like this thread to be good for attracting you.
Everyone thinks they're a special snowflake, and so many of them find reasons to express angst at the supposed "regular people" or "dumb people". There isn't really a "regular" once you get to know them, just an average between them all at best, and complaining about how much others aren't like yourself speaks more about your own need for conformity alongside a reluctance to change yourself when seeking it.
Everyone's alone when it comes down to it, and how boring they seem directly correlates to how closed minded you are. Humble yourself and open up a little more and you won't be so lonely, as the differences ought to be appreciated instead of spurned.
i was joking...i seen you mention "only child syndrome" in relation to yourself once. i do disagree with some of the things you are saying though, such as:

No really, it's a byproduct of the ego. Even the depressed types tend to think on some level that they're the most depressed, even if they logically understand that they're not. We understand life through our own lens, and from that we reflect elements of self-centeredness and a belief of individuality.

that reminds me of a man in his 40s that lived in an apartment complex next to me. we'd sit out on his porch and have some drinks, occasionally split a joint. he was a relaxed and funny person. he bashed on gays a lot and i thought that was odd, but racism and homophobia is common in northeast ohio.
the guy hooked back up with his ex...started smoking crack, and couldn't make rent. his possessions were tossed onto the tree lawn for disposal. there was a giant stuffed bear with a toilet paper tube filled with cotton for a makeshift anus, and this bear had one of his 5 year old son's shirts on, discarded alongside a stash of gay porn magazines. no one had any idea the guy was a walking contradiction.
