Being gay is supposedly a sin, and to allow those sinners to keep sinning is to allow them to go to Hell. To allow that for many is to not follow their Christian Duties. Who when asked doesn't say that they are "above average intelligence"? I hear that more often than I don't, and it's usually a statement that gives them room to self-demonstrate the opposite.

Many carry the view that we're put on this Earth to be tested for the next world. Those killed off sooner in that respect are blessed with early passage into a better world, having those who live on longer than they be the real cursed ones.

IQ: Intelligence Quotient. If you're meaning what does it stand for in the sense of it's purpose, it stands to arbitrarily gauge a person's believed intelligence based on what others have decided it must be, and it serves as a gateway for the ego and Mensa.
SAT: Scholastic Aptitude Test. It's a way to try to gauge who is and isn't more deserving of a college education based on a system of points.
The Race: That depends on if "the person in front of me" is a part of the race or not. If so, from the use of the word "and" it could mean the person was in fourth and passed the person to become third, or it means they were third and passed the person to become second. The "and" either means "and then" or that the two details are simultaneous. If not, it's an irrelevant detail when it comes to the race.
Additionally, in ways that blatantly miss the visible point (riddle speak and tangents), position could mean how far you are in the race, GPS coordinates, what your job is, etc. More conceptually, in the grand scheme of things, you're exactly where you once were and nothing matters.
