- Why did you choose the username you're using for this forum?
Flibbertigibbet: a frivolous, flighty, or excessively talkative person. Continue reading and the reason shall become clear.
- How old are you?
Thirty, going on sixteen (I am a very mentally and emotionally immature person).
- Which country do you currently reside in?
The United States
- What is your current occupation?
Kept man, and artist on the side.
- What are your positive personality traits?
Funny, creative, patient, intellectual, passionate, open-minded.
- What are your negative personality traits?
Selfish, ego-centric, callous, cynical, dismissive, cold.
- Are you more introverted or extroverted?
I am an ambivert, the idea of caring more about socialization or isolation than my mood dictates (that is, to pick a preference and stick with it) is completely illogical for me. I enjoy an ease with socialization, but I feel no sense of loss at solitude of any length. There are distinct times in which I will have a preference for one or the other, but it is not a lasting condition for either and no matter how comfy I get in either solitude or socializing, eventually, I will crave the other as strongly as I sought the first.
- Do you have any mental health issues, such as personality disorders etc? Optional test: http://doyouneedtherapy.com/
Many. Borderline Personality Disorder, Anti-social Personality Disorder, Trypophobia, Trichotillomania (Excoriation), Hypersexuality and who knows what else? Your test says I'm Bipolar or Borderline.
- Which movie or tv show character is most similar to you (in personality)?
None as I can think of right now, to be honest. The BBC's Sherlock Holmes is something of a close fit, but he is higher-functioning in some ways, and lower-functioning in others than I am. Also, he is much more asexual than I am, even in my sleep.
- What is your MBTI type? http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test.
ENTP, and, with short-term exceptions due to symptoms of my mental issues, I am a "perfect" example of one.
- If you could have any job in the world (be it legal or illegal) what would it be?
King of my own country, porn star, famous Actor, or even Youtuber, Genius inventor/CEO (Basically, something enjoyable that brings in a lot of money for comparably low effort... Which explains my current profession.)
- When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I didn't have a career in mind, more like a short slice-of-life mental movie clip of what I thought adult life would be. I would get out of my Mustang convertible (my childhood dream car), go up to my penthouse apartment, be greeted by my two purebred Doberman Pinscer dogs with diamond collars, dismiss the maid and stand by my wall-window overlooking the night skyline as some really attractive guy came up behind me, sexual pleasure imminent.
So, whatever that is, that's what I dreamt of becoming when I was a child.
- If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why that one?
Transmutation (changing stuff into other stuff) and/or personal transmutation (like Mystique and Animorphs combined, but not as "flashy" as Mystique's transformation). The "why?" is simple practicality. The obvious benefits of being able to, on a whim, turn leaves into money, (or rather, valuable items/stocks, as I prefer to have someone else to my laundry), or turning dirty creek water into Belvedere. Make a giant house of cardboard and turn it into a marble mansion. Alternately, being able to transform into any other person or animal has many potential uses, if one is creative enough, and I am. Though, I readily admit that many of my initial uses would be sexual, both human and animal. There is also a potential for invulnerability/immortality if I can effect damage at the molecular level, perhaps even change a diseased organ into a healthy one or jump start the regeneration of cells to halt/reverse aging, for instance.
Other powers would be fun, potentially more fun than transmutation, such as invisibility reading minds, or being able to fly, etc- but novelty wears off, and the implication of these questions is generally that one would have this power for life. I like to plan ahead.
- If you could be reincarnated as an animal, which type of animal would you prefer to be?
Human again (well, we are animals).. Or an alien, or creature from a different universe entirely... A dog, if it has to be a non-human Earth animal.
- What is your most pleasant childhood memory?
Learning to masturbate. I wonder what it says about me that, neither is that a joke, nor am I ashamed of the fact?
- What is your star sign?
Western: Pisces
Eastern: Ox
- What are your top 3 favorite movies? - What are your top 3 favorite songs?
I really don't know how people can narrow down their interests in this way. Are their interests so similar and few, or are mine simply too varied and numerous? These questions are always difficult for me to answer, and I generally resort to either a non-committal answer ("too many to pick" etc) or just picking whatever I currently/really like that pops to mind first. Today I go with the latter:
The Shawshank Redemption, Amadeus, & Star Trek (XI/2009).
MGMT - Kids, 100 Monkeys - Keep Awake or Ugly Girl (tie), & Arctic Monkeys - Fluorescent Adolescent.
- Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
Everything. I am my favorite subject. What would you like to know?
