Null (Joshua Moon) has made a real try to overcome his handicaps. However, despite his attempts to disable gallery functionality, he has left some remnants up and it is possible to use them to request images from an URL.
The Avatar uploader also is theoretically locked down to upload local files but has a separate, ah ... undocumented Easter Egg that let's you load files from an URL.
We should admire Josh. He really tried his bestest. We should not laugh at his failures because he is a very special and unique individual.
