I disagree. He knew the consequences and he had the choice as to whether he should do it or not. If you had the potential to become a very successful person but chose not to work then it was your choice. He had the power to change his decision to KILL. I agree with inquisitor.

Regardless of any "tragic" comedy regarding his existence, he was EMO and an idiot. He killed the only person that was decent to him. Beyond stupid. A choice that he is now stuck with the consequences thereof. It is known as Reality. Not a fking video game.
