As member of both forums, the divisive attitudes from communities I see are not surprising, especially given that such behavior is the common denominator @ KF (that is the function there). The whole, "they don't know what they're getting into," or "they totally don't understand what's going on here," regarding recent activities are overgenerilzations on both ends. My sympathy skews a bit more on the SC-side, because frankly, this site isn't about being a "sociopath," and people who try to embody that persona are often subjects of ridicule. A prevailing notion at KF seems to be that people at here are listening to Drowning Pool and writing up meticulous hit lists. But this comes from two days of observation, so I can understand why people are taking things at face value.
The attitudes at KF and SC are not so different. Here, being a smaller community that it is, the trolls turn on each other, as opposed to KW, where "who to be trolled' is well defined. Kiwis that have came on here have been fine, and some of their puppets made such accounts that they have been indistinguishable to some SC members. But puppets are nothing new, and tolerated with apathy until they have something substantial to say. That Kiwis have blown the troll game has been widely discussed on KF.
In summa, this can be fun for everyone. The "forum superiority" shit gets in the way, and that's a shame. It's missing the forest for the trees.
