Agree with Xena for the most part. If someone really wants to dox anyone, SC is the least of their worries. This place is nothing but show and tell for the kindergarten and bpd/ npd shitfits when their little egos get bent.
"Do you realize how you contradict yourself, cupcake?"
Apparently I don't. Could you enlighten me?
"The point of removing a dox is to remove it. Not to show it all over the forum the following year when some fuktard asks for proof of smthg."
I'm not asking you to show me whatever pictures or info was leaked. You said yourself it was deleted already. I'm asking you to give me a few more specifics of the situation or direct me to a thread in which it was discussed. Otherwise, you're just saying "nuh-uh!".
"Why aren't you flashing your pics all over?"
... Why would I be?
"Prove it ya little candy thief. lol"
Prove what exactly?
Ok. Here's an example:
Somebody posts a pic of their car or smthg, and being the tech savvy trolls that these members are, said troll(s) do an image search and finds the car pic on facebook. (Smthg close to this scenario actually happened. How do you think that obnoxious narc assporn chick's info leaked in the first place?) Then said troll(s) go through the fb profile and unravels the other person's entire life. Real name, workplace, family, friends, addresses, phone #s, all of it.
Because the unsuspecting person had no clue that the troll could even do smthg like that, s/he is blamed for the troll's douchebaggery and told to "prove it"? Nope. I disagree. Trolls should leave unsuspecting fb friends alone, and mods should remove unsuspecting people's info at the sc member's request.
"I don't think it has been treated with consistency either, but mainly because we didn't really ask for it. People were too busy having fun with Pink to care."
Are you fully informed about the Pink situation?
"The real problem is what Reaper mentions, what if it happens to be someone else's info? Don't ask why that would be, you should know why. Then there is no one that can demand taking it down. I doubt a stranger to the forum would demand, even if they learned the deal, they wouldn't set foot here or at least not post."
If we're going to remove doxxes at all (which I'm still thoroughly against), the old policy seems to work fine in most cases. Removal by request. If information is posted on a family member of one of the members here, it could basically be considered a dox of that person, because it's clearly about them, not the family member. But if it's not explicitly about them, if someone just posts the information of a non-member without any context, then they aren't even really doxxing anyone. Just posting random info. The only thing I'd currently change (again, assuming there must be a rule), is that someone can request the removal of a dox on a family member, when it's explicitly stated that they are that persons family.
Pink doesn't care, sensy.
I approached her privately with some suggestions as to how she could get even with her harasser.
She laughed and told me she would have no part of my... erm...suggestions... bc she just doesn't care. If it took a long time for the doxx to be removed it's bc pink never gave a shit about people here knowing about her. She doesn't get along with her family either, so it doesn't matter to her if they get harassed by some idiot from this forum.
