I have in my option a better understanding of sociopath then a doctor whos only job is to list behaviors and effects of a sociopath rather than the causes or thought processes or what its like to be a sociopath you completely misunderstood the reasoning behind my questions and stated the relevant information you could understand with your limited perspective.
So you believe every sociopath can be confined into a tiny box. If you understood morality as objective and had behaviors that where highly manipulative emotionless and logical would that not be psychopathy?
Imagine your not far below average intelligence. How would you ever know you where lacking if you could never have the awareness to see your weakness. The methods I use have be some what effective in the past though I admit I can improve.
You bent my argument from something reasonable and not agueable into a misunderstanding that you could attack. I do struggle putting thing into words if its my fault im sorry. If its your fault stop your not adding to the discussion.
your opinion is subjective and not the truth for everyone.
I just presented you with fact, which you call "opinion". Opinions can vary. Facts do not. Your opinion is just as subjective as any other opinion. Your opinion is not fact.
Perhaps my method is flawed.
It seems that if you had found your approach to be solid, you would not be having this conversation on this website. Your methods of attempting to obtain information are ill-suited to obtaining said information from the very type of person/people for which are searching.
Perhaps it works fine for people who aren't as sensitive as you.
It seems that you made a clerical error. That should have read: "Perhaps it works fine for people who aren't as intelligent as you." In which case, I certainly agree.
do you not think that a person with the right motivation and awareness could become sociopath.
Ok, here we go... The "do" should be capitalized and a question mark, not a period, should be at the end of that sentence.
No, I do not think one can will themselves in to sociopathy. There is a clearly defined set of behavioral and neurological criteria that must be met for the description to be valid. If someone behaves as or shows the neurology consistent with sociopathy, I do not believe they could have willed it there via motivation and awareness. Later life development of sociopathy is likely the result of neurological damage or another neuropsychiatric condition.
