Yes, but it's always best to get as many people as you can in as many games as you can.
I've also just thought.
Cards Against Humanity?
Reaper: "Since we can't all meet each other in real life"
Some of us are making some decent headway in this area.
Reaper: "I was thinking we could create new characters on World of Warcraft (English/US version) and level up together."
I don't think you'll be able to get people to pay $15/month for this. It's a fun game and all (whee warlocks), and forum guilds from my experience are pretty fun, but I don't see people here being willing to dish out the cash for the games, expansions, and monthly fee.
Something free'd be a better choice, and there are plenty of free MMOs out there. The question then becomes which one.
Systematic: "A game where the goal is to kill the traitor, a player chosen at random and is completely indistinguishable from the other players."
So... the videogame version of Mafia?
I always wanted to play Mafia with people from here, since it's a game that's all about interrogation, lying, and death.
Missy: "It sounds loads of fun, but I suck at gaming, so it should be easy as fuck to learn or I'm out :p"
No room for a learning curve?
Trouble in Terrorist Town is a game mode In Garry's Mod. http://www.troubleinterroristtown.com/
I haven't played that myself, but my daughter has and it's pretty fun apparently. It looks kinda fun. I haven't seen my daughter play it much though, so I assume it's gets a bit boring after while.
Minecraft is a good idea, but I'm not sure how interested people will stay in that game though. It could be fun for awhile anyway. The only issue I have with that is whoever owns the private server is the moderator of the game and they could just as easily kick you off it.
Cards Against Humanity is another game I've never played myself, but my daughter has and while she enjoyed it, I personally thought it looked a bit boring, but I'd try it if others here were planning to.
World of Warcraft is the game I would still like to get some people to play with me because we can do a lot more on that.
Anyone who doesn't have WoW would have to buy it, including all the expansion packs, and then there's the monthly subscription.
How about Town of Salem? It's free is it's evil VS good. Sort of like TTT but with more roles.
