To me, life resembles a game of cards. You're dealt some cards, but it's up to you to decide how to play them.

All the free will philosophy talk is confusing for me. "Free" from what exactly? We aren't isolated in this world/universe. We are never "free" to do what we want, or even want what we want, there are rules we have to respect, starting from the laws of physics, ending with the items they are selling at the local supermarket... We are always influenced by external factors when we make choices.

I do believe that the universe isn't entirely predictable though, there is chaos that can't be predicted mathematically for example. And I do believe there's more to conscience than just math, something we don't and can't understand because it's above our capacities.

It amazes me how some of you need to see proof of free will, to be aware of it in yourselves.
