I actually think being a "sociopath" is a pretty big plus for several reasons:
1. Why would I WANT to feel bad? If you could choose to not feel bad, why wouldnt you? Feeling bad doesnt teach you any sort of lesson that cant be learned by not feeling bad.
2. It pays more. The ability to be whatever you want to be seems to pay well in almost every industry. When some people say "who is the real you?", the blank slate IS the real me. The hardcore emotionals will say thats not possible, but obviously it is because im doing it, and I doubt im the only one.
3. Guilt is irrelevant. You can still choose to NOT do what people consider bad, without or without the ability to feel guilt. Simply choose to not take actions that would be considered bad. Why would you WANT the consequences of those actions?
4. Emotions are irrational. Emotions cause irrational decisions. Why would you WANT to make an irrational decision when you can simply choose not to?
5. Emotionals would probably say, "Well you cant choose those things". Wrong. YOU cant choose those things, but obviously it can be done because im doing it. Plus, its not that you CANT choose those things, its that you ARENT.
It seems to me that emotions take away the ability to feel the way you want to feel. It does not make sense to not want control over that. If you could have control over that (which you can), why wouldnt you?
Not all sociopaths are "bad". Some simply just have emotional and moral choice. Since morality is defined by the individual, everyone has the choice, most just choose to surrender it to the opinions of others. Emotions are also a choice. If somebody slapped you in the face, you can choose not to be mad about it if you want to.
All emotions can be chosen. I am doing it, others are doing it. Therefore, it is possible. To say it isnt possible is to deny the evidence.

It's too bad that underdeveloped frontal lobes also give you things like impulsiveness, stupidity. poor feedback loop, lack of analysis, lack of introspection, risk taking behavior, repeating mistakes and all that junk.
You can't just take one aspect of sociopathy and leave the rest.
But it can bring you in a few fucked up situations when you choose instant gratification and the lack of empathy and emotions will get your ass in jail.
Nevertheless I completely agree with your entire topic. Too bad emotionals can't seem to understand that there truly are people that have their shit together and make decisions based on rational thoughts.
