- check your condoms if they have holes or anything, never trust her saying she's on birth control, and don't let her guilt trip you into letting her pregnant: she feels that you owe her a comfortable and luxurious life just because she's "special" or whatever, she will be indifferent to the consequences on you

- friends are friends until something more profitable or pleasant comes around, invest in a good pistol / small semi automatic and keep as much as you can to yourself (vulnerabilities, soft spots, bank accounts, money stashes)

- don't waste your youth working and studying too much, tomorrow you can get hit by a bus and in your last moments think of the things you could've done but skipped to make more money etc.
