True thing. The hands look like they are cold/dead. Not sure though why they would make her standing up.

The one standing looks like she's standing stiff (like something's holding her spine strut). Her hands are blackened (bloat?).

Well. From a logical point of view it would be much easier arranging the sitting woman than the one standing. So I assume the sitting lady is dead. However, it doesn`t seem to be as obvious as on other pics

I realized the last one was "photoshopped" and the girls eyes look weird because the photographer fixed them, they probably all cloudy or something. I guess they started altering photos as soon as photography was invented almost.

I'd love to see them being posed next to the corpse before the photograph itself. Imagine that, them posing those cadavers like they're stuffed animals while their friends and family watch, then have to try to look like it's natural before the photo's snapped.

They seemed be fine with death or maybe even liking the morbid. It is really hard to say. I mean a lot of the greatest horror stories comes from the 1800s. And they did really weird things back then like showing dead bodies at circuses electrocuting them making them jump and everyone was like Oh thats neat.

Death seems a quite recent taboo, but since I'm living in that sort of time, I really cannot imagine things being different.

They say the first real burial places were in the first farmers' homes/huts. They buried the dead under the fireplace to dig him up later to have him live with them as a skull. I don't know how they know that but that sounds weird to me as well.

If I had enough money, I would create an organization that would make funny pictures with corpses and make myself a body donor
