Does music effect your emotions?

Music affects every beast.

The use of minors and majors in music is a basic method of manipulating affect when properly applied.

Why do you think that good music is so good it's bad and bad music can be so bad it's good?

I'm confused.  Music hasn't made you cry?  So, does this mean that if one day we create a computer that can generate original musical compositions, it wouldn't have the ability to make you cry bc it's really just only music and no artistic element behind it?

Wouldn't it mean that each one isn't actually the opposite (ex: so bad it's good), but rather simply good or bad?  I'm mostly interested in if sociopaths feel more emotion from one type of music compared to others.   Has music ever made you cry bc it was either so bad or beautiful to you?

Music is just music.

Sounds that are meant to evoke a response.

Has music ever made me cry? No.

Have I ever cried because of music? Yes.

Don't ever subjugate a response to a single purpose.

The wheels within wheels require an artist to be maintained.

Does music evoke emotions?  I don't know if this is limited to empaths, but my mood and emotions are effected by music.  Like some music can make me feel chill and relaxed, others upbeat, sad, rage.  Basically anything.  Does music effect the emotions of sociopaths like it does empaths?  Or does it only effect certain types of emotions? Would love to hear what's going on.

I respectfully disagree

I acknowledge.

I'm basically speaking from an experience of someone who doesn't feel much at all, and if I feel something it tends to weird me out (hence the seeking of self amusement).

So you do have periodic moments of feeling?  Like a nerve that's been pinched but every once in a while a signal gets through, resulting in a momentary sensation?  Best analogy I could think of..
