i think of this in the means of the his dark materials trilogy - a daemon, an animal-shaped form that is at your side always and is like the opposite part of you. i imagine my daemon as a big, black panther-like cat with blue eyes, named Caspar, who is mostly male but with feminine attributes. if your daemon is the same gender as you then that means you're gay. i'm not really gay, but i do feel a bit of a tension between masculinity and femininity, inside me. 

they say the more drab your daemon is the less spirit you have.. so i guess that means i have a lot. which is certainly true

I did a totem ritual once. I saw a weird mantis-like gargoyle alien creature. Like Giger doing Goya or smthg.  0_o

I think I smoked too much weed before that ritual. I was supposed to open my mind, not make brain soup out of it. lol

I overlooked 'nonfictional' as part of the criteria because I thought it went without saying. Guess this is what I get for that.
