lol. I never got above 30 wpm. I took a class in highschool and did drills and drills. All those years in chat and no improvement. Nothing.

Keyboards make me retarded :&  I pitch them across the room sometimes.

I got 49 as well, but I know that my WPM is in the 70s to 80s. I still type the same way that I learned to when I was 7 or 8, and have considered teaching myself home keys (though my nerves would surely hate that).

i just googled what a touch typist is and realized that i am one, and some people actually aren't, and pick all the keys out by sight. night after night of typing in the dark has taught me that

That's not an effective way to fix your problem.

Huh, I thought I was doing terribly until it scored me. I deleted quite a few mistakes while the timer was still going.

What about it? I don't have time to be angry. So I get it out quickly and move on to more important things.
