What a delightful topic.
- Having things organized and feeling/knowing where each of them is at any given time.
Despite my work desk is as messy as one of a decent genius most of the time, I feel a great deal of satisfaction whilst being fully dressed and having my everyday carry items in their specific places. Sometimes I slip my hand to one of the pockets just to feel the things I have in it. Sometimes simply thinking of them is enough for a slight dopamine rush. Putting them to use is orgasmic.
This applies the most for the things I have on me, but putting things into a bag or a backpack and taking them out later is also quite a joy.
- Knives
Fixed blades, folders big and small, all tickle my pickle, though I prefer the folding knives as they are more compact and I can flick them.
- Writing or drawing
Simply seeing a trace of ink remain on the paper, filling a blank page.
- Browsing through or just being in my memories; being in my mind
Jumping from one memory to another, reliving the past events, associating them with the future or my development, just chilling with my old friends, dead relatives and whatnot.
Visiting the not so practical mind castle, thinking about the past and the future, keeping track of my plans, remembering a film or a book, a joke, a conversation in Sociopath-Community, various interesting people, things, etc. the possibilities are endless.
- Getting out of my head
Suddenly stopping to think about stuff and becoming fully aware about walking in a street or getting from one destination to another in any other way.
Getting back to reality because something there spiked my curiosity (which will soon be analyzed in my mind, hehe).
- Being all well-mannered and serious in real life, thus provoking a stronger reaction to a well-timed joke.
- Thinking (all day everyday).
- Reading.
- Analysing.
- Knowing.
- Remembering.
- Plotting, proceeding with and fulfilling my ideas.
- Listening to others to acquire new information or update their profiles.
- Introspection (exploring yourself and finding new things).
- Making associations.
- Music.
- Food.
- Sleep.
- Visible results.
- Suits, coats and shirts.
- Walking in a rain with an umbrella.
- Mild breeze.
- Delicate intimacy.
Et cetera, et cetera, lots of things provide me satisfaction.
