I had this co-worker in my previous job. She is 40 y/o, long blond hair, blue eyes, skinny, overall pretty woman with a little daughter. She is really into guys and has lots of relationships which doesn't last more than a few months. And what bothered me was she always leaves her daughter with her guys and doesn't give a fuck. Guys takes the little one to trips, holidays... I feel like it's just a matter of time when something happens.

A man throws a 3 year old girl in hotel pool as the mother of child sleeps in her bed. All day, apparently.
I cannot understand why a mother would leave a child alone with someone that did not father said child. That being said I also understand that the biological parent can also be capable of such a crime, but in this case it is the mothers lover. She somehow sleeps all day while her "significant other" takes care of her offspring. It is not his job, he is not her father. A wild animal would not leave her cub to another animal even if they are same species.
Why do single parents have the tendency to leave their children with their new lovers, as if they think their mates would love it or care for the child as they do?
