Note: This was written on meth. It's very poorly written and scatter-brained so I apologize in advance.
Here's a small guide for a teenager to make a quick few bucks, written by Twisted of Sociopath-community.com
First, if you're a guy, invest in one of these:
General stealing!
Remember:
Security guards are generally given the following criteria that must be met before apprehending a shoplifting suspect:[20]
- You must see the shoplifter approach the merchandise
- You must see the shoplifter select the merchandise
- You must see the shoplifter conceal, convert or carry away the merchandise
- You must maintain continuous observation of the shoplifter
- You must observe the shoplifter fail to pay for the merchandise
- You must apprehend the shoplifter outside the store
Messenger bags make shoplifting easy as you can slip things into the bag quickly and quietly. If you're a girl, you can also get one of those, or a large purse or bag of some sort... I don't know what women call them.
Try shop lifting in places you don't frequent where no one knows you, and when you go in and buy something it makes everything less suspicious, even if it's just a drink or a candy bar.
Here is a picture of the security tag you will see on the back of a lot of small merchandise items such as headphones.
Just for fun:If you spend too much time looking for the right cough syrup (the kind without the shit that makes you throw up) they'll be on to you. If they start watching you, walking by the aisle a lot, Ant-acids are cheap at approximately $3, throw a couple bottles of Delsym into your bag and buy a bottle of Tums.
Always go into the store with $20 just in case so you can claim you forgot to pay for whatever you stole so they don't call the cops. If you're still in school, try selling the things you steal at a lower price in your school. I bring a backpack to my tech school filled with random shit like Axe, Tag, and Old Spice body spray and sell them $4 a can when they go for $9 in the store. They are easy to steal with a messenger bag, or a large coat or bomber jacket (They actually fit perfectly into the side pockets of bomber jackets and you can then stuff your hands in your pockets to make it look like it's just your hands).
Try and get creative. Go into a Wal-Mart with a pair of handheld shears and go to the electronics section. Sometimes there will be cameras with wires attached to them that can be clipped off when no one is around.
Another great thing to do at a Wally World:
You'll need a boxcutter or knife for this. find something relatively inexpensive in a large box such as a baby stroller. The cheapest one I could find was $28. Bring $28 with you (The payoff is a lot better) and select the stroller and make your way to a deserted part of the store and remove the stroller from the box with the boxcutter and put it on a shelf somewhere, doesn't matter where. Go to the electronics aisle and find some cool shit like speakers. There are often times large speakers on display that you can steal, just BECAREFUL stealing things on display, someone will notice them missing. Portable speakers are nice, like the Dre-Beats pill speakers These go for about ~$200 at Wal-Mart. Steal as many as you can fit into the box without getting caught. Just get creative. Find packing tape and open the tape and seal off your box, and pay for the stroller with the $28 dollars. The alarm might go off but keep walking. Just look back, smile and wave. The cashier at wally world usually doesn't really care so they'll wave you on.
Depending on how badly you need money (Whether it's to support your drug habit or your baby mama) price things differently.
$200 speakers can go for $80, as they are small and easy to steal a lot of them.
Newbury comics doesn't have cameras. Don't go in when you're the only person in the store to steal though or they'll watch you. Read a comic book or something in an aisle for 15-20 minutes so they start to ignore you and then grab a pair of the $20 headphones and scrape off the security tag on the back and pocket it. Be sure to not do that in front of anyone. Also if anyone who works there sees you holding a pair of headphones and notices them missing they'll be looking for you the next time you come in. That's an easy $10 sold to a friend.
Disguises!
When stealing a lot of high price items from a store with any of these methods, it's always a smart idea to dress differently.
I usually shave my head and wear bomber jackets and straight legged clothing or goth clothing. I'm a goth skinhead. When I want to make a quick few bucks from kids at my school selling high price items such as speakers, I grow out all my hair including facial hair (I can grow a beard in 2 weeks), wear baggy pants and a hat and hoodie, so people have a hard time recognizing me and security cameras can't see my face. Go into the store wearing the hat and hoodie, of course. If you have any identifying marks, cover your identifying marks. These include tattoos and large birthmarks. I have tattoos on my arms so I would wear long sleeves. Also, if you wear fingerless gloves, take them off before stealing anything. I like my gloves when it gets a bit colder out, but people watch for that shit. Stay on your toes and don't act suspicious. After stealing from multiple stores, change your dress style. Like I said, I wear different clothing. Nothing that will draw attention like what I normally wear, which is chains and goth shit. Every 4 or 5 months I 'Change my identity' by growing out hair or cutting it, and changing how I dress. I've been caught stealing from a CVS near my hang out spot 4 times over the past few years (I'm good at what I do), stealing multiple bottles of cough medicine at a time, and they let me back in because they think I'm someone else!
Before cigarettes were behind the counter I would go to the bathroom at a local gas station with a backpack and in the hallway they would have cartons. I stole so many cigarettes!
Music for the technologically retarded!
Another good idea for making money in high school is finding teenage girls that are technologically retarded and can't figure out how to illegally download music, and download entire discographies for them and burn them to CD's and sell them to the girls, or even guys if they can't figure out how to use a computer. I would charge $4 an album.
Remember that when you price things at discounted rates people will feel like it's too good of a deal to pass up so they're more likely to buy your shit.
Ask your friends if they want or need anything from stores that you can steal and sell it to them.
Carding!
Carding is a term used to describe trafficking of credit card, bank account and other personal information online as well as related fraud services.
Try looking online for people who make Fake-IDs, and email them and ask them if they also do carding, or fake debit cards. I print my own stolen debit cards onto pre-paid Visa gift cards by reprogramming the magnet strips on the cards to have debit cards on them. The money on these cards ranges from $500 - $5,000. Kids at my school were wondering how I get all these items at discounted rates and I just told them I rob warehouses (Which I do, but I'm not gonna get into that). They are generally sold at prices ranging from $20 - $40. You can purchase ANYTHING you want without fear of getting stopped because you're doing it legally (Well, not really. But they don't know that). When you use these cards, be sure to grab as much as you can at once, because once you swipe that card, there's a timer on it. The victim of the fraud will eventually notice, even sooner if you purchase a lot of random stuff (as the bank notifies them of suspicious activity) whether you spent $20 or $800.
You can also get tattoos with these cards, but be sure that you have multiple of them, as some of them will be declined. Saying as I make and sell them, I always carry 20+ of them in my wallet. Test the cards out by buying a bottle of water. This isn't generally considered suspicious activity and is low risk. If you do card yourself a tattoo, make sure you get the ink done in one session and that you never go back to that tattoo parlor, as they'll be notified that you 'stole' the tattoo.
To avoid getting caught carding use the cards in places you aren't going to visit again, or seldom visit. If you do plan on coming back, don't come back anytime soon. Wait a month so no one will recognize you. Remember, you can get in big trouble if you get caught. Wearing a disguise will help. Plus disguises are just fun.
Steam, online video games!
If you know people that play on Steam (Steampowered.com), selling them accounts can make you a good amount of money, but you will need money first in order to do this money making scheme. Note: this will take some time and patience.
Find someone selling stolen paypal accounts. To give you an idea of how much money you will need, generally a $400 account will go for $150, but the pay off is worth it. A lot of hackers in games such as Counter-Strike, Half-Life Death Match, Call Of Duty, and similar games need new accounts a lot because they get banned, and often times look to wherever they bought the cheats/hacks for the games to buy new accounts with many games on them at a discounted rate. Try finding some cheating sites and look for people buying accounts, and ask them what games they are interested in. Make an account and buy the games they want and sell the accounts to the people on the forums.
Find someone selling Paypal accounts and purchase an account from them, and flip your profits.
You can also do similar things with software (non physical items) that require a purchase with Paypal. Also, wearing a disguise behind your computer screen is optional. Dressing up is fun.
