If testosterone was a fragrance, what would it smell like?  Freshly cooked bacon and strawberries?

What if people were color coded via skin pigmentation to signify personality?

Why are subdued colors like black and grey "dark and edgy"? Why not pastels? Watch out, hear comes the axe crazy little girl in a baby pink onesie!

Why is it you can shout a generic first name in a public place and a dozen heads turn your way?

Why haven't I made a friend yet who is "the largest of hams"? I would like it for novelty's sake, but I have yet to meet an individual who fully meets the criteria.

"sometimes i imagine that i'm the only person from the future who was sent back in time, and i have to explain to all the people from centuries ago where i'm from and the technology we have and why i'm so strange."
How very "Terminator" of you. You don't fear that such an explanation could risk paradoxes? Why wouldn't you aim to blend in instead?

"or they decide that i'm some kind of demon or devil and try to have me burned at the stake, until some more reasonable person comes and saves me from the scared people, and i'm hid inside the government building while everyone outside tries to get to me."
Burning demons/devils seems inefficient. Aren't they supposed to be fairly fireproof?

Wait, government building? Are you imagining this lynch mob in the current century?

"i often spend long periods of time immersed in these daydreams, i almost don't notice i do it lol."
I suppose being left by yourself so often would push for that sort of predisposition.

"what do you people like to imagine??"
I tend to stick to conceptual things (debate points against myself, customization in games, perspective taking through human traits treated as tropes, etc) or daydreams based on d20 games. Going beyond that tends to get a little dark.

My muse also isn't quite as potent it used to be. I kind of miss it, even if the cost of it was a bit detrimental to my mental health.

i was thinking more like colonial america in the 1700s or 1800s. my imagination of what it would be like then is probably pretty flawed.. the terrain doesn't even look like eastern america, it's more like a mashup of the different biomes near where i live. history was never my greatest subject lol

"If testosterone was a fragrance, what would it smell like?"
Testosterone levels affect how B.O. smells, plus it can affect people's behaviors. From my experience with a sensitive sense of smell, it seems like it's a mix of sour and bitter?

"What if people were color coded via skin pigmentation to signify personality?"
Racism would suddenly make more sense.

"Why are subdued colors like black and grey "dark and edgy"? Why not pastels? Watch out, hear comes the axe crazy little girl in a baby pink onesie!"
It's not the first assumption. People with "darker traits" for some reason tend to go towards darker colors in their attire, maybe because it's more likely to blend in with the darkness of night? Maybe the preference is more than an acquired thing.

"Why is it you can shout a generic first name in a public place and a dozen heads turn your way?"
You answered your own question, kinda. It's generic.

"Why haven't I made a friend yet who is "the largest of hams"? I would like it for novelty's sake, but I have yet to meet an individual who fully meets the criteria."
They exist, and they can become rather draining to be around for too long. The challenge is finding ones who aren't trying too hard to be that trope.

sometimes i imagine that i'm the only person from the future who was sent back in time, and i have to explain to all the people from centuries ago where i'm from and the technology we have and why i'm so strange. and i can't get back to the future because i'm stranded there, and i'm resigned to living there all my life without any internet, and slowly i'm assimilated into the older culture, and everything that i had with me becomes a rare artifact and preserved for everyone to see, and people from all across the country come to study the mysterious person from the future.

or they decide that i'm some kind of demon or devil and try to have me burned at the stake, until some more reasonable person comes and saves me from the scared people, and i'm hid inside the government building while everyone outside tries to get to me.

I seem to be a quasi-realistic weirdness magnet in the fact that I seem to attract strange and interesting characters of all kinds, so my tolerance and patience for such people is quite resilient. I wouldn't mind so much if I had a Large Ham for a friend, really.

I mostly avoid bright colors because they show dirt more.

I like to continue a daydream story line that's been years in motion. The setting is a largely unpopulated area, with barely any trace of humans asides the overgrown buildings that are crumbling. There are no people in these towns, only specters and asides them 8 protagonists. These specters dont fit the traditional definition. They have a physical form in which their face is covered too, their entire body is covered in clothing, no skin exposed and when fatally injured the clothes fall to the ground as if no one ever put them on in the first place. None of them ever talk, they only seem to want a purpose, two of the protagonists take advantage of this and make armies of them. None of the protagonists have actual names, only set appearances with their trademarks being the way they conceal their faces. They all wear one distinctive color, which is another way I distinguish them. They each have their own slice of this world as their own, 5 of them rebuild some structure the other 3 just wandered. Some are searching for something, others looking to establish something and a few just want to survive. What initially started as 8 has over the course of 3 years dwindled down to only 3 protagonists. One of the surviving 3 was one who established a successful army out of the specters, the second learned from the specters and the third is a wanderer alive by a mixture of uncanny luck plus rigorous planning. They've all spent their time systematically killing each other off and simply surviving as they see fit.

i don't really feel like myself if i'm wearing some bright, cheerful color, like it's hard to take myself seriously. it just clashes with my whole personality.. i dunno why.
